Assembly

The shelves and columns slide into each other through precision-machined slot joints that hold them tightly together, with no hardware. It typically goes together in less than 30 minutes; follow the instructions closely and you might have it together in 10. Illustrated instructions come in the box. If you have any questions at all, don't hesitate to reach out to us: we're happy to help you with the assembly.

Ships in 2 to 3 weeks, flat-packed by UPS Ground, in two or more boxes for larger pieces. Shipping to the lower 48 states is calculated at checkout.

Materials and care

Arauco Prism thermally fused laminate on an engineered wood core, with edge banding to match (real maple on the white finish). Wipe clean with a damp cloth; the surface resists fading and scratches. Keep it out of standing water. More about the materials on our How it's made page.

Fix it to the wall. Like any tall or open piece of furniture, this one should be anchored to the wall so it cannot tip if it is climbed on, pulled, or loaded unevenly. Holes near the back of the piece take the strap of a standard anti-tip kit; loop the strap through, screw the bracket into a stud or a proper wall anchor, and keep the strap short.

Stand it on a level floor, with the heaviest things on the lower shelves. Keep it out of standing water, and do not stand on it. If you have a question about anchoring in your home, ask us before you load it.
